Is this a fair price?
A signal that tells you how an asking price sits against similar ads.
Free about 40 seconds
You do not need to know the market to notice when something is far outside it.
Reading the signal
Step 1: Open any ad that shows a price signal near the asking price.
Step 2: It compares this ad with other listings in the same category and condition band. It is a rough position, not a valuation.
Step 3: Use it as a prompt to ask better questions — not as proof that a price is right or wrong.
What this cannot do
- It needs comparable ads to work. In a thin category the signal is weak or absent, and absence is not a warning.
- It cannot see condition, service history, accident damage or extras. Two identical models can honestly differ by a lot.
- It is not an offer, a valuation, or advice, and Maaru is not a party to your deal.
Watch out for
- Treating a 'below average' price as a bargain. Unusually cheap is the most common shape of a scam, and it deserves more questions rather than fewer.
- Quoting the signal at a seller as if it were a valuation. It is not, and it will not go well.
